# Direct use of the Auditor

When using the Auditor directly, the product and location information is filled in when the pipeline is run. 

You can [**pre-configure**](/auditor/features/settings/jobs/job-configuration.md) or [**add** ](/auditor/features/settings/direct-use-of-the-auditor/docker-credentials.md)your jobs if required.
